Long Review:

This Disney classic blends together a memorable cast of cool cats, hilarious high jinks, a swinging sound track, and a satisfying ending. When a wealthy elderly woman decides to will her entire fortune to her beloved pets, Edgar, her greedy butler, overhears the plan and kidnaps Duchess and her three precocious kittens. After being abandoned in the French countryside, the felines face a series of hair-raising adventures, as they make their way back to Paris with the help of Thomas O'Malley, a tough alley cat with a heart of gold. Eva Gabor is purr-fect as the voice of the elegant and refined Duchess and Sterling Holloway gives a funny performance as Roquefort, a nervous mouse who risks his life to save his friends. Children will adore all of the animal characters, especially Scat Cat and his international band of jazz-playing, fun-loving felines. The musical score features catchy tunes that will have kids singing along, including the irresistible "Ev'rybody Wants to Be a Cat." Filled with adventure, high spirits, and even a bit of romance, this is a great pick for the whole family.
